Introduction

The Graduate Program in Environmental Education (PPGEA) aims at qualifying teachers-researchers capable of contributing to the production and dissemination of knowledge and its transformation in the field of Environmental Education in its multiple dimensions. Our major concern is the training of human resources in Environmental Education to all areas of knowledge. Currently, virtually all areas of knowledge developed at FURG have ties with Environmental Education, as already said above. The Program results from the creation of the Master’s Program, in 1994, and the Doctoral Program, in 2006. Based in an interdisciplinary perspective, the Program counts with the integration of teachers linked to different programs or course units that make up the new organizational structure of the Institution. It usually happens that teachers who work in different courses at the undergraduate level end up, as a consequence, showing an approach and a more critical incentive to students from different areas of knowledge that come to get involved in the area of Environmental Education. In parallel, this process results in the direct and indirect participation in activities developed and events promoted, and later they look at the Program (master’s and doctoral degrees) as an option for qualification at the graduate level. This movement of sensitization has been constituted in a positive trend in relation to our Graduate Program.

IMPORTANTE: FUNCIONAMENTO DO INSTITUTO DE EDUCAÇÃO EM RAZÃO DAS MEDIDAS DIANTE DO NOVO CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19)

 

Em virtude da suspensão das aulas pela Reitoria da FURG, publicada no link https://www.furg.br/noticias/noticias-institucional/reitoria-emite-nota-suspendendo-aulas, considerando as informações acerca da transmissão do novo Coronavírus (Covid - 19), as orientações de prevenção da Organização Mundial da Saúde - OMS e do Plano de Ação e Contingência da Secretaria de Saúde do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, e as ações em planejamento pelo plano de contingência da FURG (Parecer https://www.furg.br/noticias/noticias-institucional/informe-da-reitoria-sobre-plano-de-contingencia-da-furg),  informamos que as Secretarias Acadêmicas dos cursos de Pedagogia e de Educação Física, a Secretaria Administrativa do IE, a Secretaria do CEAMECIM, e as Secretarias dos Programas de Pós-Graduação (PPGEDU, PPGEA e PPGEC), todas vinculadas ao Instituto de Educação, irão funcionar em regime de 'home office', nos turnos manhã e tarde, das 8h às 12h e das 13h30min às 17h:30min.

 

 

ATENDIMENTO REMOTO

 

 

Este planejamento está estabelecido, em princípio, pelo período de suspensão das aulas, sendo que alterações poderão ser realizadas a qualquer momento, sempre em consonância com as decisões das autoridades que estão monitorando a evolução desta Pandemia.

Recomendamos que todos se mantenham resguardados e com os cuidados necessários para tentar evitar a exposição e consequente contaminação. Enfatizamos que: continuamos trabalhando, não estamos em férias, é importante a solidariedade com os colegas que possuem maior vulnerabilidade ao contágio, cuidem de vocês e de seus familiares, procurem circular pelo campus da Universidade apenas em caso de extrema necessidade!
